CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT (CNA)
What You’ll Do:
Location: York, Lancaster, and Adams counties
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining dignity, respect, and professionalism.
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mealtime support.
- Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration.
- Assist with basic treatments as permitted, including wound care and dressing changes under supervision.
- Monitor oxygen equipment and supplies to ensure proper usage as prescribed by the physician.
- Observe and report changes in the client’s physical condition, behavior, or emotional status.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, vital signs, and observations.
- Support mobility, transfers, and positioning to promote safety and comfort.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies; administer CPR or first aid when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare team regarding patient needs.
Home Health Aide (HHA)
What You’ll Do:
Location: York, Lancaster, and Adams counties
- Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting Provide medication reminders and observe adherence to prescribed care plans.
- Assist with mobility, ambulation, transfers, and positioning.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance quality of life.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping duties related to client care, including laundry and maintaining a safe environment.
- Monitor clients for changes in physical or emotional condition and report concerns promptly.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
- Follow all care plans, safety guidelines, and infection control procedures.
PERSONAL CARE ASSISTANT (PCA)
What You’ll Do:
Location: York, Lancaster, and Adams counties
- Assist clients with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to improve the client’s overall well-being.
- Support clients in mobility and ambulation, including transferring them from bed to chair or assisting with walking.
- Help with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary needs are met.
- Perform light housekeeping and household chores, such as laundry, cleaning, and changing linens, to maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and assist with running errands such as grocery shopping.
- Administer medication and assist with physical therapy exercises as directed by healthcare professionals.
